On Friday 9 October at approximately 3:40pm, three males targeted an elderly couple at their home in the vicinity of Jordan Close/Jordan Croft, Fradley.

The males knocked on the door and claimed that the property's chimney required repair work. One of the males then pushed past the occupant and entered the property without permission, while the other two males accessed the roof and began lifting roof tiles without consent.

The suspects initially quoted a few hundred pounds for the work, before later claiming further issues had been identified and increasing the price to couple thousand pounds.

A vigilant neighbour challenged the males regarding their activities, causing them to leave the area quickly.
